1st PRIZE IN A FIRE STATION COMPETITION IN PARIS

Centre de Secours in Rueil-Malmaison

PLAN2 has won 1st prize in the competition for the actualisation of a fire station in Rueil-Malmaison, Paris. The new "Center de Secours" in Rueil-Malmaison includes not only the function rooms for firefighting services, but also an apartment block for those working in the guard. The new operations centre supplies the entire "Seine Loop”, west of the Bois de Bologne.

The Center de Secours is the 2nd competition victory for PLAN2 in our western neighbour, France.  Already in 2011, the 1st prize was won for a "Palais de Justice" in Bourg en Bresse.

CRIMINAL JUDICIAL CENTER MUNICH

Progress of the Construction Work

With an inspection of the construction site by the planning team in PLAN2, it is evident that the shell construction continues to progress. The basement is ready with the 2nd floor already concreted at the northwest corner, while the south side has ongoing work on ground level.

The new Justice Centre is currently the largest construction site in the Free State of Bavaria, and will soon bring together seven different institutions of the Munich jurisdiction.
In 2013, PLAN2 won 1st prize in this ambitious project as part of an EU-wide architectural competition.

ALTE UTTING TAKES PART AT ARCHITEKTUREN

Look for the boat on the bridge

You must come up with the idea first:
The young organizer Daniel Hahn got ahold of an abandoned steamboat, transported it to Munich’s wholesale market quarter and anchored it on a discarded railway bridge in order to reuse it as a sociocultural venue.
After a lengthy 1.5 year approval process that included many fire protection policies and public law compliances, the ALTE UTTING was ready to set sail - in spirit.
Since it’s christening 1 year ago, the good ol’ steamboat has become a place of interest for locals and tourists who visit the beautiful city of Munich.

PLAN2 provided the subculture project with their design, approval planning and detail planning, such as the new nine stairs in, on and around the ship.

At 14:00 and 16:00 on Saturday the 29th of June 2019, PLAN2 offers an interesting guided tour for an insight into the planning and completion of the Utting.
